Panther island project
On August 30th, 2023 CDFW hosted the panel discussion "Urban Design Talk: Continuing the Conversation on Panther Island." Watch a recording of this event below.
As the Panther Island project gains momentum and the vision changes focus, it is important to hear from communities that will be directly impacted by it. Join us in a conversation that centers the North Side as a primary stakeholder.

The panelists were members of the Northside community, including Jason Escobedo, Graduate Student at UT-Arlington School of Architecture and Northside resident; Anette Landeros, President & CEO of Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; Sal Espino, Attorney and business owner in Northside; Richard & Patricia Perez, Residents of Northside; and Gladys Guevara, VP of the Northside Neighborhood Association. The event was moderated by Dennis Antonio Chiessa, who grew up in Northside and is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at UTA and a Community Design Fort Worth board member.
